If ET is around 30, and closer to 40 you can fit them even as a front's. But you have to use stretched tires (eg. 225/35, 215/40, maybe 235/40 will fit).diRkGTI pisze:So, Borbets are out of game, the guy who sells them told me, that all 4 pieces are 10x17 (I thought fronts are 8.5"), it's too wide for front axle
Ask the guy about ET of every single rim.
So, some news after Christmas... Gifts for my cabrio were the most expensive gifts, which I bought to anybody for Christmas  Complete set of basic service - belts, rollers, fuel filter and something for polishing (I want to refresh chrome parts around windshield etc and try to polish exhaust "tail-piece" or how to say it)... And my mother bought me 3 bottles of roof impregnation from Würth 8-)
And now few words about gear-stick replacement (especially for Kolczat )
The gear-stick should be originally from latest Audi A3 S-line, cost about 150 PLN. The replacement was not easy, nothing fitted  At first, I didn't know, how to demount the original stick
Then, the internal gearstick frame from Audi 80 and Audi A3 are different, from A3 is smaller and I wasn't able to fit new gearstick sack into original Audi 80 frame. So I had to cut redundant leather from the sack and glue the modified sack to the original audi 80 outside frame (inside frame is not used at all). Then the gear-shift rod must be shortened about 2-3 cm to fit the new gear-stick into same height as the original gear-stick.
Then I didn't understand the system, how the gear-stick is fixed to the gear-shift rod... Gear-stick was whirling, so I used the glue again   I know, non-professional solution, but I had no better idea how to fix it...
And finally - the result:

some update during winter and the biggest change on the car - I bought OZ Futuras... 7.5x17 et20. At least they need to polish. I'm thinking about changing center caps for the newer Futuras model (what do you think?) and about center parts - let them in silver, polish them or any other color?
newer center caps
