THE BODY WORK
IT HAS A GOLDEN CANDY ORANGE LACQUER FINISH WHICH IS FADING IN PLACES BUT STILL LOOKS AWESOME WHEN THE SUN CATCHES IT AS IT CHANGES TO DIFFERENT SHADES OF GOLD ORANGE RED AND AT NIGHT LOOKS SILVER AS THE BASE COAT WAS AUDI CRYSTAL SILVER.
IS PRETTY MUCH STANDARD EXCEPT FOR THE LACK OF RAIN CHANNELS IN THE ROOF THE BUMPERS HAVE BEEN SMOOTHED AND THE FRONT ONE ALTERED TO FIT THE INTERCOOLER THE WINDSCREEN WASHER JETS HAVE BEEN RELOCATED AND A SINGLE WIPER CONVERSION FITTED REAR WASHER AND WIPER REMOVED.
FIXTURES & FITTINGS
THERE IS A PAIR OF COBRA DAYTONA BUCKET SEAT (drivers seat need new cover)MOUNTED TO ORIGINAL AUDI SEAT SUB FRAMES WHICH WERE SET TO THERE LOWEST HEIGHT SETTING THEN WELDED THEY STILL SLIDE BACK AND FORWARD AND A PAIR OF RED 3 POINT HARNESSES FITTED REAR SEATS HAVE BEEN REMOVED AND PANELED IN WITH ALLOY PLATE.
THE STANDARD VDO GAUGES HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH LCD PLASMA ONES oil pressure oil temp and volts AND A COUPLE OF EXTRA ONES MOUNTED ON THE DASH fuel pressure,boost and an INNOVATE MOTOR-SPORT WIDE-BAND AFR GAUGE WHICH IS HOOKED UP TO LC1 WIDEBAND CONTROLLER AND A BOSCH 5 WIRE LAMBDA SENSOR.
THERE IS A 15" LCD SCREEN FITTED WHERE THE GLOVE BOX WAS WHICH IS USED FOR THE MEGASQUIRT DISPLAY ETC COMPLETE WITH A PC FOR TUNING PURPOSES.
IT HAS FRONT AND REAR STRUT BRACES FITTED AND THE FRONT SUB-FRAME IS SOLID MOUNTED IT HAS BEEN LOWERED BY 60mm ALL ROUND AND HAS DELPHI PERFORMANCE GAS DAMPERS THE ENGINE HAS ALSO BEEN LOWERED BY 1" AND SITS ON RANGE ROVER ENGINE MOUNTS. ALSO HAS A FULL WIDTH ALLOY REAR DEFUSER FITTED AND YES IT DOES MAKE A VAST DIFFERENCE TO THE HANDLING OF THE CAR WHICH IS FANTASTIC IT REALLY DOES STICK TO THE ROAD AT HIGH SPEEDS HELPED BY TOYO'S ON THE FRONT AND NANKANG SPORTS ON THE REAR FITTED TO WOLF-RACE EUROSPORT 17" ALLOYS.

IT HAS AN RE-CON EATON M62 CHARGER FITTED WITH A 62mm PULLEY WITH A ONE WAY CLUTCH IN IT. AND IS RUNNING ABOUT 14PSI OF BOOST.THERE IS AN ALLOY INTER-COOLER AND 2.5" PIPE WORK WITH SILICON COUPLERS ADJUSTABLE RECIRCULATION DUMP VALVE TO FEED EXCESS BOOST PRESSURE BACK TO THE CHARGER VIA 1" ALLOY PIPE WORK. THE AIR IS FEED INTO A PAIR OF TWIN WEBER ALPHA 45 THROTTLE BODIES (WHICH ARE FITTED WITH BOSCH 500cc INJECTORS) VIA A 4 BRANCH STAINLESS STEEL HONDA INTEGRA EXHAUST MANIFOLD AND CONNECTED WITH SILICON COUPLERS.
IT HAS A 4 INTO 1 STAINLESS EXHAUST MANIFOLD AND CONNECTED TO A REMUS CENTER BOX THEN SPLITS AND EXITS BOTH SIDES OF THE CAR JUST IN FRONT OF EACH REAR WHEEL
IT HAS A EDIS 4 IGNITION SET UP WITH A 36-1 TRIGGER WHEEL AND VR SENSOR AND MEGASQUIRT II fitted with pcb 3.0 THIS WAS BOUGHT AS AN ASSEMBLED UNIT FROM DIY AUTOTUNE IN AMERICA.
SOME OF THE MAPPING AND SETTING UP OF THE MEGA SQUIRT HAS BE DONE BUT NEEDS A COUPLE OF HOURS ON A DYNO TO FINISH OFF THE SET UP.
THE MEGASQUIRT INSTALATION AND SET UP WAS DONE BY A PERFORMANCE TUNING COMPANY WHICH SADLY HAS NOW SHUT DOWN
SO ALL IN ALL THIS VERY NEARLY FINISHED PROJECT HAS HAD MOST OF THE HARD WORK DONE.AND LOTS OF TIME AND MONEY BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS SPENT ON THIS
WOULD MAKE A GREAT TRACK DAY/RACE CAR HILL-CLIMB CAR OR JUST A FAST ROAD CAR.

Zeby dołądować 0.6 bara to pewnie wystarczyłoby założyć tłoki z abt albo dac tylko metalowa przekładke pod głowice. Co do potencjału tego silnika, nie mam pojecia ale pewno ze 180Km zniesie. Bardziej bałbym sie momentu z dolu zabijajacego panewki i korby. Do B3 1.8 po ogarnieciu elektryki myśle, że siadzie dość łatwo, to prawie te same słupki.
